She’s a good mother for trying to fix things

I actually like the idea of Belinda trying to befriend Sasha. That's awesome. :)
Long Tom 2nd Nov 2020, 2:40 PM
Or more likely to see what Sasha's true character is like.

It could go either way. Charlie figured out the hard way about his choices in his life that landed him in prison. Before Charlie turned up his nose at Sasha's relationship with Reggie, he noted that both of them needed to change their lives around while they still can.

The good sweet English mum to the rescue.

This should be good ;-)

So we're going to get a trip into the past to learn more about the twin's past and why animosity might have so easily built between them? That's interesting :)

I like that Belinda is so kind and friendly towards Sasha right away and willing to forgive her. I'd probably lose count of the amount of parents who would find out their child was romantically interested in someone with a criminal history (much less incarcerated at that moment) who would immediately tell them something like "dump them or I will never speak to you again". It's honestly kind of refreshing. Especially considering Linda's mother was less than accommodating to Russ. I like seeing more accommodating/understanding parents! :)

Linda's mum did learn to accept it at least :)

I hope that Belinda can convince Russell to at least listen to what Sasha has to say once Belinda finishes talking with her.

Unfortunately, only one person at a time can talk to an inmate during a visit. I guess that person-to-person visits are also not allowed at this prison.
kennethsarmstrong 2nd Nov 2020, 12:11 PM
Now all she has to do is to convince Russell to try to do the same. The clock is ticking, however.

Of course, if I were Belinda, I wouldn't blindly believe one view over another until I see for myself. What if she decides that Russell was right and Sasha was not such a good person after all?
kennethsarmstrong 5th Nov 2020, 1:26 AM
Let's find out. Half an hour is not enough to judge a person's character, but at least Belinda is willing to try.
Long Tom 5th Nov 2020, 10:45 PM
Maybe not for a complete assessment, but enough to look for anything suspicious.

That's nice of her

The thing she is going to say:
"They were such cute babies. Here. I brought pictures." XD
kennethsarmstrong 5th Nov 2020, 4:18 PM
Awww, Mum!

Russell, Reggie, and Trevor would tear their fur out if Belinda did that.

I was watching the American talk show The Talk on November 3rd. In it, Sharon Osbourne discussed her relationship with Piers Morgan. In one interview, Osbourne sparred with Morgan over some questions that she felt was too personal. However, after the interview was over, Morgan and Osbourne went to a nearby pub and had a drink together.

My point is that, unlike Russell, Osbourne was willing to forgive Morgan for offending her. I hope that Russell thinks about forgiveness when he goes in to talk to Sasha.

Belinda is brave to be at the prison. If she does have a positive attitude toward Sasha despite her current situation, I can see that she may be able to have Russ and Sasha mend the rift that's between them easier than if Sasha and Russ (with Reggie included) do it by themselves. I could guess that if she's a determined mother, I would not be surprised to see her go across the Pacific to see Reggie to aid him.
kennethsarmstrong 5th Nov 2020, 4:12 PM
Hmmm. Could be.

She could also come back to LA once Reggie returns from Japan. I would not put it past Belinda to go to Nagoya to talk with Reggie herself.

Having a Zoom session, perhaps with Sasha once she is released, might be a better idea. Linda will have to be nearby to keep Russell from leaving the session.
