It's cool to see that the band is getting noticed in the US again. :)

Logically, puncturing the wheels will put more kids in harm and she'll get in trouble by their parents.

Yes, parenthood can present many challenges and I'm sure even the greatest parent may have moments or times they might privately wish to themselves, "I wish these kids didn't exist" or "I wish I wasn't a parent". But in the long run for a good solid parent, it'll be worth it, I'm sure it will for Russ and Linda :)

So Trevor's song is a hit in the states while the song Zara wrote is a monster hit in Japan. One of those interesting cases where different songs chart in different countries and different countries might remember them for different songs! In the past, sometimes it could even be flip sides of a single-in the UK, "Let's Spend the Night Together" was a huge hit in 1967 for the Rolling Stones, but over in the states, the song met with a lot of hostility/disdain for being too overtly sexual, leading to many radio stations state-side outright refusing to play it (which is somewhat funny to me with how stiff people could be back then, today the song would be incredibly tame!), and so the flip-side "Ruby Tuesday" ended up getting a ton of radio play here instead and became a well-remembered #1 hit. It's sometimes interesting to look back through music history like that :)

"Ruby Tuesday" is even the name of a restaurant chain.

I remember a "Baby Blues" comic where the mother complains about having to change diapers on a baby, then the father tells about how the kids will change as they grow up. In the end, the mother says, "Good old diapers!"

Damn I haven't heard that song since I was in pre school or something

At least you can sing "wheels on the bus" Linda. My sister babysat for our cousin and his wife, and she would sing anime theme songs in Japanese to put the kid to sleep. Now imagine the mom's frustration of having to learn to sing a song in a foreign language cause nothing else will get the baby to sleep. LOL!

It doesn't matter what the song it is, hear it enough times and you're going to end up hating it.

My sister played Whitney Houston's "So Emotional" around the house so much that it became an earworm for me during the time it was popular.

It looks like someone in the US heard about the Zombie Korma concert in Amsterdam that had to be canceled because Trevor was too stoned to perform. Eventually, an American program like TMZ will find out about his trip to Las Vegas with Russell and Reggie. And then it will find out about the Zombie Korma concert in Las Vegas where ex-bandmate Chris blew himself up using fireworks that he brought from, of all people, Jack Russell Randall Jr. (TMZ is an American program that started as a website which specializes in celebrity gossip and scandals.)

I wonder what kind of rock Zombie Korma specializes in. It must be different from what is popular in the UK for American and Japanese audiences to notice.

You mean Jack Randall Jr :)
kennethsarmstrong 4th Oct 2020, 6:08 PM
Sorry, but I do did mean Jack Randall Jr.
Anon 4th Oct 2020, 9:31 PM
You can always ask “Jenna” or “Malcolm” what style they play 😇. I also doubt that TMZ are interested in anything Jack “Russell” Jr. is into nowadays.
kennethsarmstrong 5th Oct 2020, 2:30 AM
I guess I should ask everyone in the band what they consider to be Zombie Korma’s musical style.

I believe I was talking about the concert accident, and not Jack Randall Jr. TMZ probably won't care about where Chris bought the fireworks from.
