It's never a good thing to have siblings being suspicious and holding things against each other. Let's hope they can patch things up before they encounter one another again...

I kinda know how Reggie feels.

Same mind, different hobbies/lifestyles. You'll never know the difference.

And if both play the prank from their youth and dress up the same, it won't be easy. (Both must have similar or identical scents.)

Good thing only REGGIE had a gay side to him!

I'm sure when they see each other again, they will be happy.

Well, Russell and Reggie did not leave on the best of terms. Russell blew off Reggie when he asked for a job reference. Now both of them feel like this issue has still put a wedge between them. Mum will need to find a way to settle this dispute before it gets worse.

Well thatโ€™s certainly going to hinder progress. At least she checked.
Excelsior_Thirty 26th Jun 2020, 3:18 AM edit delete reply
Well, these identical twins do have something in common now-fearing each other.

Twins really think alike sometimes don't they lol

Reggie and Russell will just have to learn to trust one another again as they move forward. A chapter of their life ended on a bad note and some things will just never be the same especially now that Russ is a dad, but Reggie knows he has good things to look forward to such as being a close uncle to his niece, seeing Sasha again and also Jason now that he's back in LA.

Russ of course would love to have his brother back but he ultimately has more to worry about with having to live with Sasha and given how Linda has proven to be more sympathetic to Reggie, his feelings might lead to enough trouble that it could soon be his turn to leave LA for a long time himself, if not permanently.

he's also trying to seek better employment to provide for his family too.
kennethsarmstrong 26th Jun 2020, 11:58 AM edit delete reply
I wonder if that could mean that Russell could end up moving from SoCal either way. His and Reggie's auto shop was the only thing keeping them together. With their business burned to the ground, and the insurance company fighting any effort to pay them, nothing else is keeping them together. (Yes, I know the shop is a lost cause, but it was something that both could agree on.) Linda and Sasha could help the Harveys reconcile, but Russell's dislike for Sasha may be too much to overcome.

Did that fracas with the insurer over the loss of their garage ever get sorted out?
FreyFox 27th Jun 2020, 12:21 AM edit delete reply
FreyFox
They never paid up.
kennethsarmstrong 27th Jun 2020, 3:46 AM edit delete reply
And it looks they never will. If the insurer can wear out their clients in court or through a rigged arbitration process, it's more money for them. If the insurer loses in one case, the floodgates will open for others.
WaxBadger 26th Jun 2020, 8:13 PM edit delete reply
Better employment is a must, hopefully to provide for a family he will live with instead of child support.
Tjimmy1999 26th Jun 2020, 8:25 AM edit delete reply
I think it's safe to say they both are feeling the same way with each other.

If their significant others get involved, it will be in Dolby Surround ๐Ÿคญ๐Ÿฟ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿฟ๐Ÿ€. (This stereo process involves sound in four separate channels.)

Is that not a quadrophonic sound system?
Long Tom 27th Jun 2020, 2:15 PM edit delete reply
If I remember correctly, I thought quadraphonic stereo was a complete failure?
kennethsarmstrong 29th Jun 2020, 1:08 AM edit delete reply
It was. Few people wanted to pay the extra money for a quadraphonic system, or the premium for quadraphonic records.
kennethsarmstrong 27th Jun 2020, 3:53 PM edit delete reply
Dolby Surround consists of four discrete channels, plus an optional channel for deep bass sounds. Some sixties-era films used four-channel soundtracks.

Newer films and television programs consist of four channels, a center channel in front, and a channel for deep bass sounds. Dolby Digital 7.1 adds an additional channel on the left and right of the four main channels.

Dolby Atmos has 128 separate channels. In addition to the 7.1 channels, the other channels provide additional sound effects. Home theaters use the 5.1 to 9.2 channels the receiver or soundbar has to simulate the sound output in movie theaters (theatres? ๐Ÿค”)

The multichannel sound format made a comeback in the mid-eighties when Dolby Pro Logic receivers first came to the market.

The two seventies-era quadraphonic formats were incompatible with each other. Neither format could get traction in the market and most manufacturers were unwilling to pay royalties for either format.

The same thing almost happened in the early 2000s with Dolby Digital and DTS. Both formats were able to co-exist with each other when DVD makers and manufacturers started to support both formats. Another factor is that the makers of both formats charged royalties low enough to make home theater manufacturers interested enough to make multichannel sound standard.

Matrixed sound dates back to the fifties with the creation of FM stereo. One monophonic channel was broadcast along with a matrixed channel that created the left and right stereo channels. Dolby Surround and Dolby Pro Logic continued the trend with two channels matrixed into four or five separate channels.

My father had a stereo receiver with provisions to convert it to quadraphonic with a separate decoder. I think that the manufacturer never introduced a quadraphonic decoder due to a lack of demand. I doubt my father even knew about quadraphonic when he bought it since he never bought speakers for the rear channels.

kennethsarmstrong 28th Jun 2020, 7:24 PM edit delete reply

I see ๐Ÿค”. Maybe Russell can get to know Sasha a little better without thinking about the news reports that he read about Reggie and Sasha coloring his opinion of her. Russell does not want Sasha to get Reggie into the same trouble as she did with her brother Charlie.

When Reggie walked out on Russell, both were in tears later over their argument ๐Ÿฟ๐Ÿ˜ข.
