It's the dying hour at the Hudson estate! :D

Wow, this comic is getting gorier!
Seeing now that Brett turns against his own ally, I think this will be like the near end of The Lion King.

It's going to come down to who runs out of bullets first. Not sure what Lyle will be doing upstairs, the elder better be ready for anything.

I should have guessed that there would be a massacre like this. :D
FreyFox 8th Oct 2019, 10:15 AM edit delete reply
and it wasn't even a Randall who pulled the trigger!

so let it be written, so let it be done, to kill the first born pharoes son!

when you think about it, hudson does seem like a pharoe given the amount he has control over. and Randall is their creeping death

I did not think that Brett would have the nerve to actually use his gun on someone. Now that the warthog is out the way, Brett can have Jess all to himself… provided Jack Jr doesn't manage to knock down the door and try to shoot him. Of course, this could become a messier hostage situation where Brett can hold a gun to Jess's head, and if Jack Jr manages to get the chance, he will likely shoot Brett anyway. I do hope that Jack Sr will try to take Lyle alive, or else he and Jack junior will have a hard time explaining this situation to the police, who will probably feel that both of them should have left this to the police. Another dumb thing that Lyle had done was to hold Jess hostage at his mansion. I would think that Jack Jr would figure that Lyle's mansion would be the first place to look for him and Jess. I would also think that Lyle would have hired more security for his house, but I guess that he figured that none of his enemies would try to attack him at his seemingly secure home... but someone forgot to tell Jack Jr.

All well informed points but then it's just a comic ^^

I note this is just a comic, but, like Jack Jr said earlier, he does not trust the police because he figures that some of them take bribes from Lyle to look the other way… although they likely won't be getting any more money when Jack Jr gets through with Lyle.

Well exactly ^^.

As might be imagined, even bribes can only go so far. When things become TOO bad and word gets out, any public officials are going to have to take care of their own skins.

... And even if Lyle survives this, he will end up in jail, and will be very hard for him to get a bond of any kind since he might be a flight risk. Also, I'm sure that the police, the feds, and possibly the IRS, are going to be keeping a very close eye on his finances, so wherever payments he had been giving to the cops on the force who are on the take likely stop anyway. After all, Lyle is going to end up between a rock and a hard place until whatever trials he could face. There is also the possibility that Brett might roll over on his father if only to get a more lenient sentence for himself. After all, Brett is facing a possible life sentence, and may even face the death penalty, for killing his warthog partner. As you said, I know that this is just a comic, but I'm just saying…

Holy cats!
Several pages back, I had made the prediction that Lyle and Brett had until sunup to enjoy breathing. I'm glad that I had waited this long to say something about it.
