RIP, they won't be missed. His name was T-Bone and he's Hispanic...this is a reference to T-Bone Mendez from GTA San Andreas, ain't it? Was my first thought at the very least :D

Two down, two to go XD BTW Frey I've been playing through Pokemon Gold recently and I've been naming the Pokemon on my team after characters from the strip, just thought that was something cool I'd share ;)

Darkness challenge activated!

Remember what the Birdbox challenge had and you two should be fine (then again, only an idiot would do that challenge).

It just wouldn't be a Randall comic without a fatality or two.😉

Using what?! There does not seem to be enough left of that alligator to make a wallet out of. On the other hand, Jack and Jack junior could make meals out of both the alligator and the raccoon. They knew need to make sure, though, that the power is completely off before they try to scrape both of them off the ground. By the way, I know the Hudsons are still inside the mansion, but what about that fat warthog?
FreyFox 13th Sep 2019, 10:45 AM edit delete reply
FreyFox
It wasn't a raccoon - no ringed tail :P Yep that warthog (Gordo) is in there with them too.
WaxBadger 13th Sep 2019, 2:56 AM edit delete reply
And so it begins.
Feige Roman 13th Sep 2019, 8:02 AM edit delete reply
Ah, damn, I'll bet they were looking forward to pumping a lead lunch into those bastards, too!

Still, with how easily these two have been picked off, I'm expecting more of a showdown when they get to Hudson... ;)

Yep :)

I have heard of ringtails, although I always have confused that species with raccoons. I believe there is one Mexican species called the coati mundi, and I have heard that they are related to raccoons as well. I do remember a ringtail character who happened to be a friend of Gene Catlow named Kendall. He was a John Wick wannabe with an apparent heart of gold. Kendall, however, was nowhere as vengeful as Wick provided you leave him and his friends alone.
KSArmstrong 13th Sep 2019, 11:59 PM edit delete reply
Here is a fun idea... Jack and Jack Junior Could cut open the ringtail and the alligator with that big knife that Jack Junior usually carries around and make meals out of them. Once they get through with the Hudsons, they could kill and gut the warthog and feast on pork for next month or so by freezing his carcass. Considering that Jack Junior killed and ate an annoying pig with virtual impunity, this would be poetic Justice considering that the warthog tried to hurt his daughter Jess.

Think Kevin and Kell, when an annoyed Kell ate a Springer Spaniel talk show host after digging up what could have been an explosive affair... if it hadn't been for the fact that both she and her husband Kevin were having an affair with each other.

What did I say earlier? I said it's not a raccoon because it doesn't have a ringed tail. It's not a 'ringtail' either. It's a wolf/hyena type animal.

Plus I'm not going to have Randall and his dad eat these animals. That's a very random thought. Just because it happened in one strip years ago, I made it clear that I wasn't proud of that moment and if I were to do the comic again I would take that bit out altogether.

The problem with Kevin And Kell is that who would want to live in a society where they might get eaten up at a moment's notice?
Long Tom 14th Sep 2019, 1:38 PM edit delete reply
I thought the term "ringtail" applied to any type of animal with rings on its tail-raccoons or anything else?
Excelsior_Thirty 15th Sep 2019, 1:19 AM edit delete reply
Well, then if it were that happening, I would feast on gator- weird smell, but tasty. Heard that raccoon is edible too if cleaned properly!
I think it would be no problem for both Randalls to have something soon for a holiday feast... ;-) (And well deserved when they rescue Jess.)

And, SORRY, I did not see deeply, nor see the comments when I first saw this comic, Frey.
KSArmstrong 15th Sep 2019, 5:28 AM edit delete reply
I am sorry if I got that brong again. That scene was so dark it was hard to tell what kind of species that was.

I guess the idea of eating another sentient animal does tend to turn your stomach.Kevin and Kell seemed to make light of this... cannibalism by all but making light of it in the form of competing meat packers. Also, any-thing apparently graphic is usually done off off-strip. And as I know it before, The central of Doc Rat is trying to convince senient predator animals to stop hunting sentient prey animals and eat "dumb" animals.

By the way, you noted that... cannibalizing sentient animals is a no-no. My quest, therefore, is

Some things are best left unanswered I suppose. The comic The Suburban Jungle also extensively covered predation too
KSArmstrong 15th Sep 2019, 5:33 AM edit delete reply
...My question is what predator animals do for food. If they simply eat non-sentient animals, that would explain everything.

Well, in this one instance, "overdone" is perfectly fine.
