I knew it wasn't going to last. Time for some AA rehab for that raccoon. ;)

This is going to end with Timothy arresting his wife and her having to go to Alcoholics Anonymous, isn't it...It's depressing to think about, but my gut feeling is telling me this is *not* heading to a happy conclusion.

On the other hand...I wonder how many people would *prefer* a drunken, wild Willow over a more tame, clean, calmed-down Willow. I'm guessing you've got some people who would prefer the former :D
FreyFox 24th May 2019, 12:30 AM edit delete reply
Yes I certainly do! I was once commissioned to draw Willow streaking with a drink in her hand XD
lazyrayfinkle 24th May 2019, 12:10 AM edit delete reply
Oh snap, Lita. This can't be good.

I hate to say it but Tim should have done more to address Willow's past with her the morning he made his suggestion to quit drinking. I think he may have unintentionally pulled a nerve in the back of her mind and instead should have thought about discussing more about the need to be a good example on the kids and not be so much like she was before Russ and Linda's wedding.

I'm not saying Tim is doing anything wrong, but I think about this as my mom continues to cook meat for me and my dad despite becoming more in favor of the vegan ways of my brother and his wife, she knows my dad and I might eat out more for lunch if she stops buying meat. Old habits are hard to let go of.

Certainly are.
GoodKaptainKook 1st Jun 2019, 2:21 AM edit delete reply
Err, while I agree with you on that-that he certainly could've done more to try to prevent her from drinking-I don't think it would be fully fair to pin all or the lion's share of the blame on him-and I get the feeling some people *would* say it's all his fault and not hers. Yes, like you said, he could've done more and tried to drive home the point that she should set a better example for the family...but she made the conscious choice to start drinking and partying, he didn't put the bottle in her hands. She could've listened to her conscience, but nope.

Maybe I'm too old-fashioned and insensitive in my view points and ideals, but my way of thinking is that ultimately, *you* are the one responsible for your own actions. People can suggest or try to help you make your life better and resist temptation, but they can't *force* you to stop. Only *you* can make that choice. It doesn't matter how much people care or sincerely want you to do better, if you don't have the desire or drive to change no outside influence will be able to force you. Like I said, *maybe* I'm too old-fashioned and out-of-date with my views on life. But that's how I feel...

Frey, I think this is the first time you've had an anthro who's fur color that is not a natural color in this comic.
FreyFox 24th May 2019, 8:27 AM edit delete reply
That might be possible!
LapisHusky 25th May 2019, 5:03 AM edit delete reply
Frey, have you thought about having some of your characters playing GTA5 or Red Dead Redemption II? (I'm not a big fan of GTA, but Red Dead Redemption II looks absolutely amazing along with both Watch_Dogs games and the two most recent Assassins Creed games Origins and Oddesy but that's probably because even I before knew of the game I liked ancient Egypt, Greece and Rome.) Can you imagine some of your characters in the Old West? Russ & Reggie would make pretty good engineers in those days, or at least a good train driver, did you know that today a train driver makes more money than a dentist.

Pardon the poor grammar I was multi-tasking at the time. I had a dog getting in my "personal space" and was not liking it😰. I really need to work with my dog so he doesn't do that. 🤔
Long Tom 26th May 2019, 9:18 PM edit delete reply
The dog will get the idea after a while. When he reaches the age of 2 he will be a responsible adult.
LapisHusky 25th May 2019, 8:18 AM edit delete reply
Please note my dog is a 11 month German Shepherd Husky mix, (if your having a bad time thinking of a size of a dog from last comment). He likes to get personal whenever he meets someone, more so for the ladies, men he doesn't trust them all that much, more so for the slightly to moderately heavy set men.
FreyFox 26th May 2019, 1:30 AM edit delete reply
Can certainly imagine them being the train driver and fireman on an old western locomotive :)

My sister years ago adopted a stray female cat who was nearly starving to death and then got tubby. The cat was friendly, but she was scared of male cats and small children.

Based on Lazyrayfinkle's comment, which one is Lita and what's her significance?
FreyFox 24th May 2019, 8:27 AM edit delete reply
She's the one on the left and if you've ever read the webcomic Jack you'll know ;)
Long Tom 27th May 2019, 8:58 PM edit delete reply
I think that webcomic is off the internet now.

She's going to get caught-It can be that old Bud Light commercial where the men are in a bar and use legs and a recording of fixing sounds to get drinks. One of these ladies will make a stupid mistake and blow their cover...!

Yipe! A rhyme!
Something tells me that you are going to put a dramatic event in the relationship between Tim and Willow...
*Dramatic fearful chord plays*

Willow’s kind of being irresponsible, don’t you think?

Also, as good as “Don’t Speak” is, I think I would’ve preferred “Just a Girl.”
