Finally a new chapter, and one with a different guest co-writer. The original draft to the bulk of this story was pitched to me by Daniel Noble, aka Windy City Puma. I liked the idea, and we have done some work to it to adapt it for this comic.

Russell and Linda will still make appearances, but for the next few months the main focus will be the supporting cast for a while - starting with Willow and Timothy!

And just when things looked like they were going uphill...now you have no money to raise the kid.

Boy, I hope they figure something else because I'd hate to see 'em have to give the kid for adoption or something...I get doing that because you simply don't want the kid in the first place, yes, but having to give up your child because you can't afford to care for it is sad. :(

Also Linda has a bigger family than I thought :D

They will find a way. ^^ Linda's sis has appeared before in the wedding story and I recently did a picture of them together :)

I know, I just wasn't aware she had living grandparents :)

By the way... what is the "My Name Is Willow" gonna be about?
FreyFox 22nd Apr 2019, 10:22 AM edit delete reply
It is going to be about Willow. ^^;

Also, maybe it's a good thing you didn't show Linda's mother's reaction (no offense but I feel like her family should have a last name-would be better than just referring to them as "Linda's family")...considering she had major issues with the two even being together and was religiously troubled by the very idea of them having children, methinks her reaction would've been a reaction of shock/anger/horror. Her eyes probably would've bulged right out of her head :D

Although I imagine it would've been even *worse* if this happened before they got married. Then I could probably imagine her having thoughts of personally castrating Russ 0_0

She's had plenty of time to come to terms with it all. For the record, Linda's family surname is Hogarth. I haven't got round to including that in the story yet.

Teamwork folks teamwork, that means you Trevor, stop wasting money on drugs and get your band back in the studio or record a solo album if you have to.

It is good that Reggie in the previous chapter is going to give that money to them-according to this website:
the two will have to spend US$13,132 in their area to raise it, and there is no cash without Reg's contributions! (I know you're in the UK, Frey- so in yours, it is £10,107 at the time this comment was posted.)

Raising a kid is expensive stuff XD

And I imagine the insurance company is still dragging its arse about denying the claim on what's left of their shop. The property, (if they own, not rent it), is probably worth something, but it's tied up in insurance. Russ is just going to have the find a better paying job!

"Russell . . .we're going to be broke"

That was a nice line there.
