Raped by her own father...ahhh, disgusting! :bleh: Damn, just seeing that makes me wanna gag! Geez, no wonder she wound becoming so f***ed up as an adult. Sexual abuse as a child has a tendency to make for a messed-up adult, sadly :(

Oh god I'm not sure I wanna know what's next...

Oh... She was raped, ran away to some rich guy and never mentioned Charley and Shasha ever again.

I thought she was going to be dead, so I guess I owe you fifty bucks :(

Sorry to surprise you :P

That's unfortunate that Ivy can't be bothered to help out her siblings.

And I dread to find out what happened next. Especially at what was implied in the first panel.

This is terrible! I don't even know what to say about this any more :-(

You can sort of sympathise with Ivy, to an extent.

Well, damn.

To say life was Hell seems to be an understatement.

This story’s getter darker with each strip. It sucks that Sasha’s sister got raped by her father, but that doesn’t mean you become a gold digger and straight up neglect your family as a result.

I suppose it depends on the individual.

So when are they gonna get together?! This is life story relationship stuff!

Patience! ;)

I don’t even have to guess at what comes next. Ivy had very good reasons to split the scene when she did, and maybe she feels that she’s safer not having any contact with Chrley or Shasha.

Oh god, this isn't gonna go down the same route as the 'Jason' arc, is it? I found that hard enough to stomach as it was, and I don't want to find something even worse when I tune in next week!

You won't see so much as you are told.

Sad, as this is. I feel like bein' a douche..soooo *whips out a tiny violin and plays her the saddest song for her sad backstory*

Just because you've suffered as a child doesn't mean you grow up to be a good person. Ask Mike Tyson.
GoodKaptainKook 8th Feb 2018, 11:59 PM edit delete reply
Who ever said it did? I always assumed it made it FAR more likely that the exact opposite would happen-that you would be far more likely to grow up to be a terrible person, or worse, become your own parents. Why do you think abusive families end up in repeating cycles?

Ivy's awful experience reminds me of the nightmarish Joseph Fritzl scandal of him imprisoning his daughter for 24 years. At least a semi-happy ending happened for her, but at the cost of abandoning her family and morals. Tragic childhoods can affect a person's heart. :(
