If anyone is finding this current story arc too intense, then I'm sorry. I can't be whimsical all of the time.

Comic updates will be returning to two a week (Monday and Friday) starting in March. Three strips a week is just too much for me to work away at.

Thank God Jason Ran away.
He's safe with the twins now.
P.S. I'm sure Trevor's music isn't that bad

Yeah, it would have just gotten worse and it might have killed him in the process.

If I were there, I'd make sure that little Jason is looked after and his abusive uncle brought to a fitting punishment

Can't believe this, I'd knew it'll get worse the more Jason is under his Uncle's roof.
I've seen people suffer this much and there has to be something done about it.
I almost cried to this episode.

I've seen "William Carver" from TellTales' "The Walking Dead Universe". He would hurt people who ever didn't follow his rules in his community, he would even kill them in the process, if he thinks' they're risks.

I fully respect what you're doing with this strip, not to worry. :)

I also respect your choice to return to doing the strip twice a week starting in March, but don't forget to inform everyone that strips will be posted at 1am BST starting in late March. ;) :D

@David31 I doubt it'll matter much ^^

Jason did the right thing. I hope Russell and Reggie will take good care of him and his uncle will pay.

I was worried his face would look like cooked beef or something?
FreyFox 27th Feb 2015, 10:56 PM edit delete reply
@Tigerpool If I went that far I think it'd probably cross the line in this comic series. What you see here is nasty enough :P

Hopefully things will turn around and Jason's uncle will get his just deserts; especially if Randall gets involved.

How about getting eaten by a snake while trying to rob a zoo

Glad to see that Jason's in good hands now.

I got a bit emotional when Jason hugged Russell. I hope things improve for him.

that kid DESERVES a chance for real and his uncle... <ties boots and cracks nuckles> a trip to a prison's clinic...
D'Otter 27th Feb 2015, 8:55 PM edit delete reply
Is Jason mute, or just afraid to ever speak? Not that telling what actually happened would help him in the least... He'll be put back with his uncle. And he'll end up dead. And his uncle will get away with it because there's "no proof."

Is jason's uncle more psychopathic or narcissistic? I know they're similar... I'd guess the latter.
FreyFox 27th Feb 2015, 10:57 PM edit delete reply
@DOtter Jason is shy and doesn't have the confidence or the courage the speak. His uncle is probably a combination of what you just said ;)

Seeing Jason hug Russ like that was heartbreaking, as it seemed that he confused him with Reggie.

Hearing how Reggie said that he reminds him of Trevor was incredibly heartwarming. They may get on each others nerves, but the love is undeniable.

I have my artwork of Jason from this webcomic series if anyone wants to see.

Poor, poor kid! :( At least he's away from the bastard for a while :)

Personally, I don't mind if the comic gets a little intense at times. I've explored several darker and more depressing thematics in my own writings. This kind of stuff is sad and tragic...But it is unfortunately VERY true to life. There are DEFINITELY people who have to live like Jason...
