Meet Randall, an ex-National Guard serviceman who has a thing for firearms. He'll be appearing in a fair few future strips. :)

"I didn't know French fries came from potatoes."
I'm sorry, I really felt like face-palming there.

Nice new character, though I thought the last line of dialogue could have been better, unless it's to symbolise how 'effective' these chips are at bringing out the 'dumfounded' in each and every one of us...It's the latter isn't it? :D

The power of these fried chips brings out enlightenment to whoever is fortunate enough to consume them.

Not really a fan of chips. But then again I'm not a fan of potatoes. My Irish ancestors are ashamed of me. French Fries are thin enough and empty enough that it's not a problem. Chips...well chips are potato wedges which is too much potato at once for me.

Available - at least on the West Coast - at many grocery-chain store deli counters... called "Jo-Jos". Often available as a package deal with fried chicken (since making one provides the equipment needed to make the other).

...you didn't know they came from potatoes? Where did he THINK they came from? The French Fry Fairy? :D

Seriously, Randall? You didn't know French Fries were made from potatoes until you tried it? Good lord, even trailer trash hillbillies know that French Fries come from potatoes.
